Ludo is a board game where players aim to get all four of their checker pieces around the board and back to their home color. Players take turns rolling a die and can use the numbers rolled to move their pieces around the board. A player must roll a six to move a piece out of their starting box and can choose to either add a new piece to the board or move an existing piece forward with each six rolled. Landing on an opponent's piece will send it back to the starting position and give the player an extra turn. There are safe spaces on the board, such as colored or starred tiles, where pieces cannot be sent back. The goal is to be the first player to get all four pieces back to their home color.
